Financial Analyst - $130K + Bonus

We service our clients primarily in the NYC Metro area as well nationally through our AAFA and NPA networks.

Our global corporate client is looking to add to their team a forward-thinking Business Analyst who brings a strong foundation in finance along with a passion for technology and emerging AI solutions. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands financial data and business processes but is also excited about leveraging automation, data analytics, and AI tools to drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.

This position is located in New York City and required to be in the office 4x a week.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with finance, operations, and technology teams to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Evaluate and optimize financial workflows through automation, system enhancements, and AI-driven solutions

Translate business needs into technical requirements for system implementations and process improvements

Work with large datasets to generate insights, build dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making

Identify opportunities to integrate AI tools (e.g., predictive analytics, process automation, machine learning models) into existing workflows

Support implementation and optimization of ERP systems, financial planning tools, and reporting platforms

Document processes, develop business cases, and present recommendations to senior leadership

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and continuously refine processes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field

3+ years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or a hybrid finance/technology role

Strong understanding of financial concepts, reporting, and data analysis

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills

Exposure to AI tools, automation platforms (e.g., RPA), or data science concepts is highly preferred

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders
