Responsibilities

In your role as a Financial Analyst, you will execute key accounting processes that contribute to financial statement preparation and analysis.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements.
  • Conduct branch audit evaluations.
  • Assemble bank reconciliations and account schedules.
  • Prepare journal entries, including expense accruals and allocations.
  • Assist in the month‑end closing process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Support personnel with accounting policies and procedures inquiries.
  • Analyze fluctuations in income statements.
  • Provide ideas for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Manage financial records and assist in financial reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve objectives.
  • May handle T&E reports, coding, classifications, and reimbursements.
  • May be responsible for preparation and submission of sales and tax returns.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; college students within one semester of graduation may be considered.
  • Willingness to obtain CPA within 1‑2 years is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is necessary; no more than 2 moving violations or at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years. No drug or alcohol‑related convictions (DUI/DWI) within the past 3 years.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
