OBJECTIVE

Reporting to the Director, Treasury & Planning, the Financial Analyst provides essential support to a dynamic, growing team and organization. The successful candidate collaborates with numerous functional areas to provide a wide range of impactful support to various business units.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate actively in the accounting activities
• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, and variance reporting
• Map Budget with financial statements
• Analyze the variance from month to month between actuals and budget
• Building meaningful dashboards
• Prepare and enter month-end/year-end entries
• Assist on audit requirements
• Assist Manager in his tasks
• Participate on special projects
• Engage with various departments to provide support

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field
• Experience working in an accounting firm an asset
• CPA / MBA designation, an asset
• 5 to 7 years of pertinent work experience
• Strong technical skills using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products
• Preferable working experience with reporting tools such as Power BI
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
• Bilingual (written and verbal) a must
