What You'll Get To Do: • Accounting and Financial activities Month-end close entries and review of general ledger accounts (accruals, reclasses, prepaid, balance sheet, T&E). • Prepare and present monthly financial reports to management and business units by review of balance sheet, income statement, and P&L through variance analysis and forecasting. • Processing and management of transactional invoices Whse management, Product Safety/Quality Assurance, HR services and related service administration, coordination and review. Will require tight communication, coordination and responsiveness to managers and client queries • Billing Posting and Review Monthly creation and posting of billing entries in SAP. Development of service rates. G/L account review. • Establish and maintain rapport with BUs by timely response of inquiries and adjusting entries as appropriate • Implementation and Administration of IT Billing solution • Work on centralizing and streamlining expense management, billing, and budget processes into current platform. • Use of benchmarking and comparative analysis to evaluate industry competitiveness and enhance business unit transparency. • Budget preparation and cost allocation • Assist in forecasting, analyzing, constructing, and allocating yearly budget to multiple business units. • Distribute allocations, create presentations, and create reports for management. • Ad-hoc Analysis Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed and be engaged in Financial Project management.
Scope: • This position will report to the Director of Financial Services and will work closely with accountants, financial analysts and Operational service owners.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting • 5-year minimum experience in financial analysis or general accounting. • MBA or CPA preferred
Problem Solving: • Experience with ERP Systems; experience with SAP • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills (v-lookup, pivots, macros). • Strong analytical skills (Power BI, Google analytics, etc..) along with good judgment • Ability to meet deadlines with the utmost attention to details • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Knowledgeable with Financial models, market research and benchmarking
Communications: • It is expected that this position be in consistent communication with other Panasonic business units, PEXNA Shared services group managers, and various other cross-functional teams.
Other Requirements: • Hybrid working schedule. Minimum 2 days on-site in Newark office. • Less than 5% travel required.

The wage range of $90,000 - $100,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
