Our client is seeking a diligent and insightful Financial Analyst to join their Corporate Strategy team based in **Gombe, Gombe, NG**. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain financial models to support long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Analyze financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers of variances and recommending corrective actions. Prepare detailed financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key trends and insights. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify strategic opportunities and threats. Develop business cases for new initiatives, investments, and strategic projects, including ROI analysis and risk assessment. Assist in the evaluation of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures from a financial perspective. Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives by providing financial expertise and analysis. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role. Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial modeling techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial information clearly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) software is a plus. Experience within the specific industry of the company is advantageous.
