About the role
Job Summary
A Financial Analyst is needed within a large, established healthcare organization with a strong focus on financial planning, operational analytics, and executive-level decision support. This role supports enterprise FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling within a high-visibility finance environment.
The position plays a key role in both operational and strategic finance initiatives, partnering closely with senior leadership to provide insights that support organizational planning, performance management, and long-range financial strategy.
Compensation: Up to $90,000 annually (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly financial close activities, including journal entries and reporting support
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, including variance analysis and KPI reporting with executive-level insights
- Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including long-range and multi-year planning support
- Develop executive-ready financial presentations and strategic reporting packages for leadership review
- Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision support
- Partner with finance leadership and operational stakeholders to evaluate performance and drive financial insights
- Support capital and operating budget tracking, analysis, and planning activities
- Identify key trends, risks, and opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy and financial performance
- Collaborate with Accounting, Procurement, and Finance Operations on cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
- 3–10+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, or related role
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in complex environments
- Advanced financial modeling and executive presentation experience required
- Advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar preferred
- Strong ability to communicate complex financial concepts to senior leadership
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly complex regulated industries preferred
- Demonstrated ability to operate in both tactical execution and strategic advisory capacities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
