Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and supply chain operations, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst III to join their team. As a Financial Analyst III, you will be an integral part of the Finance department supporting senior leadership and cross-functional teams. - Job Title: Financial Analyst III
- Location: Princeton, NJ (100% On-Site)
- Duration: 12+ Month Contract
- Pay Range: $30hr. - $33/hr.
- Shift: 8:30AM - 5PM
What's the Job?
- Provide comprehensive cost planning, analysis, and reporting to senior leadership for the manufacturing site.
- Conduct detailed cost accounting and variance analysis, including purchase price variance, overhead spending, freight, distribution expenses, inventory management, and capital spending.
- Utilize systems such as TM1 and ERP to analyze actuals, investigate variances, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare accounting journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly reporting packages for finance and business leadership.
- Apply GAAP principles to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and guide senior leadership on accounting matters.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Strong accounting background with at least 2-5 years of experience in finance within a large public company.
- Proficiency in financial systems such as TM1, SAP, Oracle, or MRP systems, along with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support strategic decision-making.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with multiple organizational levels.
