Our client, a reputable financial institution, is actively seeking a highly skilled and driven Financial Analyst to join their esteemed Investment Banking division in Kano, Kano, NG . Key responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining complex financial models for valuation, M&A analysis, LBOs, and other transaction types. Preparing comprehensive pitch books, presentations, and client materials for deal origination and execution. Conducting in-depth financial statement analysis and industry research to support investment decisions. Performing due diligence on target companies, including financial, operational, and commercial aspects. Assisting in the structuring and execution of capital markets transactions, including equity and debt offerings. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Staying abreast of market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the financial industry. Contributing to the overall business development efforts of the Investment Banking division. Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies. Providing analytical support for strategic advisory mandates. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field. An MBA or Master's degree in a relevant discipline is a plus. 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or financial consulting. Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv). Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and strong work ethic. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Demonstrated interest in financial markets and corporate finance.
