About the Role

As a Financial Analyst and member of the Finance I&T team, you will be responsible for providing financial support to the Project Delivery and Operations teams. Working in partnership with managers, you will be required to closely monitor the operating and project costs of the departments under your responsibility, as well as assisting them with various ad hoc analyses.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure regular financial monitoring (monthly) and analysis of project costs (OPEX/CAPEX).
  • Ensure the follow-up of recurring costs (impacts on operations)/project benefits.
  • Participate in month-end activities (commitments, postings) and forecasting/budgeting/risks and opportunities.
  • Update resource budgets/forecasts and carry out related analyses.
  • Manage project creation and closing, as well as the administrative elements related to them.
  • Support project, centre of excellence and programme managers in various financial analyses.
  • Support teams in analyzing expenditure for their cost centres.
  • Participate in the preparation/update of management reports for the various teams supported.
  • Participate in the monitoring and improvement of key performance indicators (KPIs) and cost drivers.
  • Carry out certain internal controls (SOX) related to project monitoring.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting).
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience relevant to the position.
  • Good knowledge of English and French, oral and writting
  • Knowledge of Power BI would be an asset
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an asset.
  • Excellent prioritization skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Autonomy.
  • The willingness to strive for continuous improvement in the performance of your duties.
