Financial Analyst - Payroll

Experteer Overview As a Financial Analyst - Payroll you will validate LOA alignment for civilian payroll, audit payroll data, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate government payroll operations. You will lead quarterly timekeeping and payroll reconciliations, support state and regulatory audits, and update process documentation. You’ll collaborate with multiple partners to strengthen controls and processes, contributing to a mission-focused defense contracting environment with strong compensation and benefits.

Rémunérations / Avantages • Validate Line of Accounting alignment for TI 21 and TI 97 in state Department payroll lines • Audit payroll documentation and data to identify discrepancies • Investigate and resolve payroll irregularities or inquiries • Prepare reports on audit findings and propose operational/process changes • Manage state agency audits and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies • Update work instructions and payroll process documentation • Coordinate and lead quarterly audits reconciling timekeeping and payroll systems • Collaborate with departmental partners throughout the audit process

Responsabilités • Bachelor's Degree • 3+ years • Experience in HR administration preferred • Experience with civilian payroll systems • Active SECRET security clearance and ability to maintain it
