Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Financial Analyst to join their fully remote team. This position will play a vital role in supporting financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities. You will be responsible for gathering and interpreting complex financial data, developing financial models, and providing insights to guide strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical capabilities, and proficiency in financial modeling software.

Key responsibilities include preparing detailed financial reports, conducting variance analysis, and identifying trends and opportunities. You will assist in the budgeting process, monitor financial performance against plans, and develop forecasts. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to gather necessary financial information and provide them with relevant financial insights. You will also be involved in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, ACCA) is highly preferred. Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting is essential. You must be proficient in advanced Excel functions, financial modeling techniques, and ideally have experience with financial databases and ERP systems. Strong communication skills are necessary to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, allowing you to contribute your financial expertise from anywhere.

Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance, profitability, and trend analysis. Develop and maintain complex financial models for forecasting and budgeting. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations. Assist in the annual budgeting process and long-range financial planning. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support strategic initiatives. Collaborate with departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy. Identify risks and opportunities in financial performance and propose solutions. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Stay current with economic and industry trends affecting the business. Support the development and implementation of financial systems and tools. Present financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (CFA, ACCA, CMA) is highly desirable. Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools. Strong financial modeling and valuation skills. Experience with financial databases and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data. Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.
