Financial Analyst - Senior

About

Conducts and documents moderately complex financial analysis projects, performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance.

Role and Responsibilities

• Gathers, interprets and evaluates financial information.
• Work may be performed under the review of a senior analyst, but may also lead simple projects.
• Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Creating Purchase Order Requests within the Purchase Request Tool (PRT) from Vendor Quotes in Oracle or Ariba.
• Submit receiving and un-receiving requests for PO's in Oracle.
• Perform Purchase Order (PO) Cancellations in Oracle.
• Project closeout documentation.
• Bill invoice review, and creating reports on billing invoice (for invoice reconciliation of hours billed to hours coded in time reporting systems).
• Invoice processing in CAPRES/CAPS, Oracle database, data entry and accrual preparation.
• Communicates with all levels of management and departments.
• Inputting new Vendors into the Vendor Web tool in order to process quotes.
• Utilize Web Based report systems to pull and format data for reports.
• Answer client questions by email, telephone, or "Q Enterprise Messenger".
• Respond to client requests sent to group mailbox(s) in a timely manner.
• Post confidential financial data to assessment documents and publish.
• Build and utilize Microsoft Access databases to collect and interpret financial data.
• Handle multiple requests on a daily basis meeting all time constraints.

(May require access to Oracle, Norad, Filenet, Siterra, Ariba (ePro) or Docviewer)

Qualifications

• Accounts Payable AP and 4 years
• Accounts Receivable AR and 4 years
• Advanced ability to gather information from data for tracking and monitoring PO's & other data and 5 years
• Bill Reconciliation and 2 years
• CAPRES and or CAPS and 1 years
• Experience as a Financial Analyst Level 1 and 2 years
• High School diploma or equivalent experience
• Intermediate-advanced Excel with ability to gather information for tracking and monitoring of data
• Intermediate user of MS Access. Able to build & query databases
• Jigsaw/Shopp experience
• Microsoft Office Suites and 3 years
• Payroll reconciliation and 2 years

Nice to Have

• Strong Oracle database experience
