About the Role

As a Senior Valuation Associate at our Financial Valuation & Advisory practice in Gurgaon, your role will involve full accountability for delivering business valuation, equity valuation, and financial reporting valuation engagements. You are expected to have deep technical expertise in valuation methodologies, experience with industry-standard databases, a thorough understanding of IFRS standards relevant to valuations, and the professional maturity to lead a team and manage client relationships independently. Please note that this position does not involve 409A or tax-purpose valuations.

Responsibilities

• Leading client interviews and discovery sessions to gather relevant data
• Managing project economics, timelines, and engagement deliverables
• Researching target industry, market trends, and economic developments
• Structuring, drafting, and reviewing comprehensive valuation reports
• Building and reviewing financial valuation models using various methodologies
• Analyzing and interpreting financial statements for normalisation and assessment
• Conducting quality research using industry-standard databases
• Complying with organizational rules, policies, and professional standards

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Qualifications:
  • CA (Chartered Accountant) ICAI
  • CFA Charterholder or CFA Level II / III candidate
  • Equivalent professional qualification with a track record in financial valuation
• Additional certifications such as ICAI Registered Valuer (Securities or Financial Assets), CMA, or CVA are advantageous
