Financial Analyst/Controller (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Creation and analysis of monthly and quarterly reporting in accordance with US GAAP and support in further developing reporting processes
• Participation in the preparation of annual financial statements according to UGB
• Support in internal and external audits by providing relevant information and documentation
• Support in budgeting and forecasting, including coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Conducting ad-hoc analyses and business reviews to create data-based decision-making foundations
• Creation and optimization of presentation materials for meetings and reports to management
• Independent data extraction and creation of reports to answer customer inquiries
• Participation in cross-departmental projects, including analysis of business processes and development of solutions
• Implementation and optimization or continuous further development of financial systems and tools (Microsoft AX, Microsoft Power BI)
• Close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders to efficiently design financial processes and support company goals

Requirements

• Completed studies in business, finance, or comparable qualification
• 2+ years of professional experience in the finance sector
• Confident use of MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience with data analysis or reporting tools (Power BI)
• Analytical skills and enjoyment of working with complex data sets
• Teamwork, strong communication skills, and a structured way of working
• Fluent German and English skills
