EMEA Recruitment is supporting a search for a Financial Controller to join a growing production business.
This role will play a key part in overseeing financial reporting, ensuring robust controls, and partnering with the business to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:
- Oversee the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting for assigned entities
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local statutory requirements
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and advisors
- Monitor balance sheet positions and identify potential risks or improvement areas
- Support the implementation of finance process improvements and standardization initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and guidance
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks
Profile:
- Qualified Finance professional with solid experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Proven track record in a complex, fast-paced environment, ideally within manufacturing or a similar sector
- Strong understanding of accounting standards (e.g. IFRS and/or French GAAP)
- Ability to work both strategically and hands-on
- Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset
- Fluent in English and French
