EMEA Recruitment is supporting a search for a Financial Controller to join a growing production business.

This role will play a key part in overseeing financial reporting, ensuring robust controls, and partnering with the business to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities of the Financial Controller:

• Oversee the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting for assigned entities
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local statutory requirements
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and advisors
• Monitor balance sheet positions and identify potential risks or improvement areas
• Support the implementation of finance process improvements and standardization initiatives
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and guidance
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks

Profile:

• Qualified Finance professional with solid experience in financial accounting and reporting
• Proven track record in a complex, fast-paced environment, ideally within manufacturing or a similar sector
• Strong understanding of accounting standards (e.g. IFRS and/or French GAAP)
• Ability to work both strategically and hands-on
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset
• Fluent in English and French
