About the role
A dynamic company based in Roodepoort is looking for a Finance Controller-Bookkeeper
Duties: • Calculate utility usages monthly for tenants • Tenant management: • Creating monthly invoices, • Sending statements • Following up on outstanding payments • Assist with monthly and year-end financial close processes • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies • Support audits and internal financial reporting • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures • Assist auditors during annual audits • Assist with maintaining and implementing financial controls and procedures • Creating maintenance job cards, monitoring progress and issue job card invoice.
REQUIREMENTS: • Degree or similar qualification or relevant experience in Accounting and Finance • 5 10 years of accounting experience (preferred) • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Proficiency in Excel and Xero and Sage VIP • Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) • Comfortable using technology and various accounting software • Fast Leaner and consistent work ethic • You must be able to work independently and part of a team • Responds well to management direction • Able to prioritise workflow and work under pressure • Deadline driven with a high level of attention to detail • Attentive to detail • Own reliable transport
