Position Summary

We’re seeking a CPA with 3–5 years of real estate accounting experience or experience in an accounting firm to oversee financial reporting for our property portfolio. Ideal for someone looking to grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple properties
  • Prepare ASPE-compliant financial statements
  • Analyze variances, allocate costs, and review P&L and balance sheets
  • Oversee rent rolls, leases, expenses, and recoveries
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and banks
  • Maintain accounting systems
  • Assist with strategic projects under VP Finance
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies

Qualifications

  • CPA
  • 3–5 years in real estate
  • Strong ASPE knowledge and financial analysis skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
