Financial Controller

About

A well-established, purpose-led organisation is looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to own the full finance function and provide strong financial leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end financial operations, reporting and controls
• Deliver accurate management accounts, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Oversee audits, statutory compliance and donor/grant reporting
• Manage cashflow, assets and financial risk
• Lead and develop a small finance team

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ financial management experience (non-profit experience a plus)
• 2 years’ management experience – of a small team (2-5 people)
• Strong working knowledge of SA tax, compliance and IFRS for SMEs
• Advanced Excel skills and solid accounting system experience
• Detail-driven, ethical and commercially minded

Qualification

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting/Finance (professional qualification advantageous)

Package & Remuneration

R 360 000 - R 540 000 - Annually
