Financial Data Analyst

Job Details

The Financial Data Analyst supports forecasting, reporting, and analysis tied to a company’s asset portfolio, while partnering closely with FP&A on strategic planning, budgeting, and executive reporting. This role offers high visibility and the opportunity to build analytics from the ground up to support key business and capital allocation decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reporting on key performance metrics, utilization, pricing, asset performance, and ROI
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including executive and board-level materials
• Analyze large datasets in Excel to generate insights, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses
• Partner cross-functionally to improve and automate financial and operational reporting
• Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning
• Evaluate capital investments, asset lifecycle activity, and financial performance
• Maintain data accuracy across systems and support process improvements and system enhancements
• Communicate insights, trends, and recommendations to leadership

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in finance, analytics, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar (preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large, complex datasets
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with financial systems and data tools is a plus
