Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Financial Management Analyst in Paris. This on-site role involves managing and improving internal controls and accounting in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness. It requires strong quantitative analytical skills, written/oral communication skills, computer literacy, and application of mature judgment in problem solving.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal control procedures.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and risk assessments of financial operations, identifying potential weaknesses, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with auditors during financial and compliance reviews, providing prompt and accurate responses to audit findings.
  • Plan and advise on the implementation of new ideas, procedures, processes, and methods in the areas of finance and internal controls.
  • Manage and review accounting entries related to payroll in 7 countries and 3 currencies.
  • Review payroll reports for accuracy; coordinate with Human Resources and Finance staff to resolve discrepancies; ensure timely disbursement of salaries and benefits.
  • Develop, review, analyze, and interpret accounting data and reports.
  • Provide responsive, professional customer service to internal and external clients by addressing financial inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and timely communication on payroll, accounting, and other financial matters.

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of related experience, such as such as financial management, internal controls, accounting, budget, audit, payroll management, and/or data analysis.
  • BA/BAC+3 in any discipline required. Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Advanced English (C1) required.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to assess and improve internal financial processes
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and to communicate technical or financial procedures and information to general staff.
  • Knowledge of Excel and financial management systems, preferably Oracle.
  • Prior experience in an international organization or government agency is a plus.

Salary Range

50k-60k € annual gross
