Financial Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze production, labor, and material costs
• Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis and provide explanations
• Support cost modeling and pricing inputs for customer proposals
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and financial summaries for leadership
• Partner with Operations to understand cost drivers and improve efficiency
• Support forecasting and budgeting activities
• Assist with ad-hoc financial and operational analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3+ years of cost analysis or cost accounting experience
• Manufacturing, engineering, or construction industry experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Strong experience in cost analysis or cost accounting
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:

• Complex formulas
• XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP
• Pivot tables
• Data reconciliation and analysis
