About the Role

The Financial Operations Analyst ensures accurate, timely financial operations and supports scalable, compliant processes across accounting, payments, and reporting. This role combines transaction-level execution with continuous-improvement initiatives to strengthen controls, improve cycle times, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, own and analyze the P&L for the company and individual branches; produce clear, timely reports and presentations for executive leadership.
  • Process and reconcile day-to-day financial transactions (AP, AR, payroll interfaces, bank reconciliations).
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare monthly close support schedules.
  • Monitor cash position, assist with short-term cash forecasting and payment scheduling.
  • Support invoice processing, vendor management, and dispute resolution.
  • Prepare and analyze routine financial reports and operational KPIs; identify trends and variances.
  • Implement and document process controls and standard operating procedures, support external accountant on taxes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, HR, IT) to resolve issues and streamline workflows.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and automation projects (ERP, AP/AR tools, RPA).
  • Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, cost allocation, and month-end close activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or related roles.

Required Skills

  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic modeling); familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and internal controls.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; ability to present findings to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A or acquisition-related financial work is highly desirable.
  • High integrity, attention to detail and strong internal control mindset.

Pay range and compensation package
