Financial Operations Analyst (Contract, potential conversion to Direct Hire)

Location: On‑Site in Baltimore 5x/week

We’re partnering with a growing financial services organization seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to support reporting and data management across client investment portfolios.

This is a strong opportunity for a junior candidate looking to gain hands‑on experience working with financial data in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Support monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting
• Input, review, and validate investment data within reporting systems
• Assist with onboarding and maintaining client portfolio data
• Identify and help resolve data or reporting discrepancies

What You Bring

• Strong Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving ability
• Interest in financial data, reporting, or investment operations

Nice to Have

• Exposure to financial reporting or investment operations
• Experience with portfolio accounting/reporting tools (e.g., Black Diamond, Tamarac, Orion, or similar)
