About
We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) Manager to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong expertise in financial modeling and analysis, particularly within the hospitality, retail, or franchise sectors. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving financial performance, providing actionable insights, and supporting key business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for multi-unit, consumer-facing businesses.
- Analyze financial results and provide detailed insights to support performance improvement and cost management.
- Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to deliver data-driven recommendations and enhance strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models to assess business performance, investment opportunities, and market expansion.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Present key financial findings and performance updates to executive leadership, translating data into actionable strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reporting.
- Mentor and guide less experienced members of the FP& A team, fostering growth and development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in FP& A, with a focus on hospitality, retail, or franchise operations.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with financial systems; experience with NetSuite is preferred.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Demonstrated experience in high-growth or multi-unit environments.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Proven leadership abilities and a track record of mentoring and managing teams.
