Position Summary
The Financial Planning Analyst (FPA) supports clinical trial planning through comprehensive budgeting, benchmarking, and financial analysis. The role is responsible for developing program- and study-level budget scenarios, translating operational assumptions (e.g., number of sites, countries, timeline, and enrollment) into financial clinical trial forecasts, and supporting decision-making across clinical programs.
The FPA works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, transparent, and high-quality budget outputs and contributes to continuous improvement of budgeting methodologies and tools.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree is the minimum required education.
Experience
- 2 years of work experience required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience working with clinical trial budgeting tools, such as IQVIA Investigator Grant or Medidata Grant Manager.
- Experience with Oracle ClearTrial is nice to have.
- Understanding of Fair Market Value (FMV) for clinical trial purposes.
- Strong understanding of clinical trials and protocol requirements, including Schedule of Assessments and site needs.
- No accounting experience is required; however, a high-level understanding of financial impact is essential.
- Quick learner with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and AI tools.
