About the role

Duties:

  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Reconciliations (balance sheet, creditors, debtors)
  • Costing and variance analysis
  • Tax and VAT submissions
  • Assisting with audits and compliance
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and controls

Qualifications & skills:

  • Education:
    • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
    • Professional qualification (SAIPA / SAICA) is advantageous
    • 2–5 years’ post article experience
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data handling)
    • Experience working on accounting systems such as Sage, Pastel, Xero, or similar
