About the role
Duties:
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Preparation of management accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Reconciliations (balance sheet, creditors, debtors)
- Costing and variance analysis
- Tax and VAT submissions
- Assisting with audits and compliance
- Maintaining accurate financial records and controls
Qualifications & skills:
- Education:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification (SAIPA / SAICA) is advantageous
- 2–5 years’ post article experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data handling)
- Experience working on accounting systems such as Sage, Pastel, Xero, or similar
