Role Details

• Location: 1 Hayden St, Petersburg, VA, 23806
• Duration: 6 months
• Pay Rate: $25.00/Hr on W2 without benefits
• Schedule: Monday - Friday - 8AM - 5 PM

Requirements

• Strong accounting background required.
• Experience With Banner Financial And EVA Systems Preferred.
• Knowledge of Commonwealth asset management policies and procedures is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate fixed asset records, including tagging, documentation, and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with Commonwealth policies for asset management and surplus property disposal.
• Serve as subject matter expert for surplus property disposal and fixed asset audit coordination.
• Oversee surplus transactions and facilitate both internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with departments, auditors, and DGS to ensure proper asset management.
• Generate reports and provide analysis to support financial accuracy and accountability.
