A Financial Systems Consultant is needed to support and improve financial systems and processes for a federal agency. This position sits at the intersection of finance, systems, and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial business processes and requirements and translate them into system and reporting solutions.
- Support configuration, testing, and implementation of financial system changes.
- Develop and maintain financial reports and queries to support management and compliance needs.
- Identify process and control improvements and recommend solutions.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience with federal or enterprise financial systems.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and federal financial processes.
- Strong Excel and reporting tool skills (e.g., queries, report writers).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Work Authorization
- U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a federal background check.
Salary
$96,000 - $112,000
Contingent upon contract award
