Within Harris DACH, our Finance & Administration division functions as a data-driven shared service. Our focus is not only on classic accounting processes but increasingly on the digitalization, automation, and data-based optimization of finance processes across multiple business units.
In close cooperation with national and international finance teams, you will contribute to further developing our financial processes.
Your Responsibilities
- You will analyze and optimize end-to-end financial processes (Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash) with a focus on data quality and automation
- You will develop and improve reporting and BI solutions for the transparent presentation of financial key figures
- You will actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (HGB/IFRS) and contribute your analytical perspective
- You will identify inefficiencies in existing processes and implement data-driven optimizations (e.g., via Excel, VBA, or BI tools)
- You will support forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes through sound data analyses
- You will accompany system and process integrations (e.g., new companies or ERP systems) from a finance perspective
- You will create ad-hoc analyses and prepare complex data in an understandable way for management
What You Bring
- Completed degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent
- First to several years of experience in a finance, controlling, or data-driven environment
- Strong analytical mindset and interest in finance processes and data structures
- Very good Excel skills and experience in data analysis and preparation
- Understanding of basic accounting principles (HGB/IFRS)
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
- Very good German and English skills
Additionally Advantageous:
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
- First exposure to process automation (e.g., VBA or similar tools)
- Experience in international corporate structures or in collaboration with global teams
