Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training as a specialist in finance and accounting or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Confident handling of financial statements and sound knowledge of accounting
• Good MS Office skills, especially in Excel
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Structured, precise, and self-responsible way of working
• Analytical thinking skills, discretion, and a high level of quality awareness
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Independent management of the general and subsidiary ledgers
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to internal guidelines
• Posting and reconciliation of debtors, creditors, banks, and general ledger accounts
• Monitoring of payment transactions and ensuring smooth financial processes
• Preparation of VAT returns and support with audits
• Analysis of account movements and preparation of evaluations and financial reports
• Participation in the optimization of processes in finance and accounting
