About
Are you passionate about applying advanced simulation techniques to real-world hardware? We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineer specialising in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to join a cutting-edge engineering team working on next-generation space systems.
In this role, you’ll take ownership of the structural integrity of high-performance, compact mechanisms, contributing from early design stages through to testing and validation. You’ll operate at the intersection of simulation, mechanical design, and experimental verification, directly influencing product architecture and performance.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and refine FEM models (meshing, boundary conditions, load cases, material models)
- Perform structural analyses (static, modal, dynamic) across components and assemblies
- Interpret simulation results and drive design improvements
- Support material and manufacturing process selection
- Define and execute environmental and mechanical testing (vibration, shock, thermal, TVAC)
- Correlate simulation results with physical test data
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Materials Engineering
- ~5+ years of experience in FEA within an industrial setting
- Proficiency in tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, or similar
- Strong knowledge of structural dynamics, materials, and vibration analysis
- Experience with test validation and data interpretation
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation
Location
- Toulouse, France (on-site)
If you’re excited about solving complex engineering challenges and seeing your work validated in real hardware, we’d love to hear from you.
