Firewall Engineer (Palo Alto)

We’re currently looking for experienced Firewall Engineer to support a large-scale network transformation project.

Role Details

• Title: Firewall Engineer
• Duration: 12+ months contract
• Visa: Non-sponshirship Visa required

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Palo Alto firewalls (PA/VM series)
• Replace routers with secure firewall solutions
• Implement VPNs, NAT, segmentation, and DMZ architectures
• Collaborate with security & network teams for deployment and testing
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform RCA, and ensure compliance (PCI, NIST)
• Work with Panorama (on-prem & cloud) for centralized management
• Maintain documentation, diagrams, and SOPs

Required Experience

• 5–7 years in network engineering (firewall-focused)
• 5+ years hands-on with Palo Alto firewalls
• Strong experience with Panorama
• Deep knowledge of NAT, SSL Decryption, IPsec, segmentation
• Experience migrating router configurations to firewalls
• Strong troubleshooting & analytical skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
