Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full‑time Early Career Electrical Engineer (Hardware/Firmware). In this role, you will contribute to design, analysis, testing, and requirements verification of high performance Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar systems. The successful candidate will have experience and/or entry level knowledge of Embedded Software, Firmware development (VHDL and/or Verilog), and simulation of modeled systems.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical/Computer Engineering.
  • Entry level experience with Quartus or Vivado FPGA building vendor tools.
  • Entry level experience with VHDL and/or Verilog simulation environments.
  • Initial exposure to Radar system level requirements flow down.

Security Clearance

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely – Part‑time Remote Telework

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position

  • 4 × 10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Compensation

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $75,000 – $135,961.
