Flutter Mobile Developer

About the role

This position is a permanent contract (CDI), with a start date expected in around two months.

As a Flutter Mobile Developer, you will join Cognizant and work for a major client in the banking and financial sector.

This role is for candidates with at least 8 years of experience, including strong skills in mobile development with Flutter. Knowledge of PHP / Symfony is appreciated, as it helps collaboration with backend teams, but the mission is mainly focused on mobile development.

You will work in a modern technical environment with efficient practices (Agile/Scrum, code review, automation, CI/CD), in teams that value quality, collaboration, and innovation.

In this specific role, you will join a mobile development team inside the Web & Mobile department of their online bank.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all project phases: study, design, development, and testing
• Work with business teams (marketing, media, customer service) and technical teams
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using Flutter (Android and iOS)
• Integrate REST APIs and collaborate with backend teams
• Write automated tests, and manage project delivery and production monitoring
• Work on corrective and evolutive maintenance
• Contribute to code reviews and support good development practices

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science (engineering school or university)
• At least 8 years of experience in web/mobile development, with strong experience in Flutter
• Good understanding of mobile constraints: performance, security, accessibility
• Professional English required (spoken and written). Experience in an international context is a plus

Work model: hybrid

At Cognizant, we promote a hybrid work model and try to offer flexibility when possible.
This position requires 3 days per week on‑site, either at the client's location or at Cognizant La Défense.
