Catering International Services is a family-owned French company based in Marseille. In the most isolated, hostile, or logistically complex environments, we provide catering, hotel, and Facilities Management services for the energy, mining, and construction sectors on life bases. We operate in over 20 countries (Africa, LATAM, Central Asia) and manage 380 operating sites.
At CIS, Facilities Management (FM) encompasses all activities on life bases related to generator-based electrical networks, desalination plants, wastewater and drinking water treatment, fire suppression systems, HVAC electromechanics, pest control, waste management, vehicle management, and green space maintenance.
Role
As part of our business and service development, we are creating the position of FM Project Manager. This role is based at our headquarters in Marseille, working in direct collaboration with the FM Director.
Objectives:
- Directly contribute to the analysis, preparation, writing, and response to FM tenders, both technically and commercially.
- Assist the FM Director with existing operations: defining and analyzing country KPIs, conducting field commercial prospecting in countries, and supporting existing teams in subsidiaries.
Main Tasks
Commercial:
- Develop technical and commercial proposals in support of operations and sales.
- Contribute to the presentation of offers and projects to existing and potential clients.
Project Management:
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with operational and technical contacts of existing and potential clients, as well as with suppliers and service providers.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in existing contracts, operations, and projects through exchanges with internal teams and clients, considering digital, technical, and organizational innovations, as well as methods, systems, and equipment.
- Identify opportunities to generate profit through innovations, additional work and services, renovations, and projects.
Operational Management:
- Maintain good field knowledge and remain operational.
- Monitor and analyze monthly activity reports and key performance indicators, and propose improvement solutions.
- Support the Corporate FM Manager in implementing and monitoring ISO procedures.
- Ensure, in all actions, compliance with the most demanding safety and security standards applicable to industrial, oil, and mining environments.
Profile
Education
- Starting from BTS, bac+2 professional level.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in FM as an FM supervisor or FM manager.
- Life base experience required.
- International experience.
Skills
- Technical knowledge of FM installations.
- Quantitative analysis and estimation skills.
- Learning ability, feedback collection, adaptability, and innovation capacity.
- Fluent English.
