The role

You will be working in the field of AI Services Enablement. The goals of the team is to enable use cases across organization, helping teams translate business and engineering problems into working AI solutions. A core part of this role is understanding what customers struggle with and feeding that back into the platform: improving services, tooling, and templates based on real needs rather than assumptions.

You are the bridge between the AI platform and the teams using it, both listening and building.

What you will do as an Forward Deployed AI Engineer at LINKIT

Concretely, you will sustain and extend things like: • An Enablement agent, an AI assistant that guides teams to the right services for their use case • A template ecosystem, scaffolding that gets teams from idea to production quickly. • An AI services catalog and tooling that keeps it accurate and actionable.

Roles and Responsibilities • Engage directly with use-case teams to understand their problems, blockers, and needs. • Translate those insights into concrete platform improvements: better services, templates, tooling, or documentation. • Build and maintain AI agents and tools that accelerate how use cases get enabled. • Identify recurring pain points and drive structural fixes rather than one-off solutions. • Sustain and maintain the software underpinning enablement services so the team can scale.

Education and experience • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in AI/LLM application development. • Hands-on experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications (RAG, tool-calling, MCP integrations). • Proficiency in Python; experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar). • Familiarity with developer tooling: CI/CD, Docker, Git, templating tools. • Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms. • Strong consultancy and communication skills; able to extract the real problem behind a customer request and act on it. • Experience with MLOps tooling and IaC.
