RA Scale AG
About the role
Forward Deployed Engineer (AI Procurement)
Salary: CHF 80’000 - 120’000 per year
About
RA Scale AG is an ETH Zurich spin‑off building Scalera.ai, the AI‑powered SaaS platform transforming construction procurement across Europe. We already serve 110+ customers in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria and process CHF 8bn+ in annual tender volume through our system.
Our culture is shaped by direct user focus, strong ownership, and a “chaos hacker” mentality: we solve the hardest problems by working closely with customers and shipping real software fast. Joining Scalera means building AI systems with immediate real‑world impact, helping define the new standard for how every construction project in Europe will be tendered in the future.

- Customer‑facing communication skills. Comfortably running workshops, demos, and technical deep‑dives independently.

Responsibilities
- Work directly with our customers (construction companies & suppliers) to analyze tender workflows, uncover automation opportunities, and design technical solutions for real operational problems.
- Build and deploy customer‑specific automations, integrations, and AI‑powered workflows using our platform stack (React, Next.js, Python/FastAPI).
- Rapidly prototype solutions, validate them in production, and generalize high‑impact use‑cases into scalable platform features for the broader customer base.
- Act as the technical bridge between customers and the core product team, feeding back product insights, edge cases, and feature opportunities from real‑world usage.
- Own projects end‑to‑end: discovery → implementation → launch → iteration, while maintaining high engineering standards via CI/CD and testing.
