About the role

About Us

This Physics AI startup is combining high-fidelity simulation with machine learning to compress engineering design cycles from weeks to seconds. Backed by top-tier VCs and trusted by leading names in aerospace, automotive, and defense, they've built a platform that sits at the intersection of physical simulation and the next generation of AI. The technical foundation is serious: think surrogate models trained on thousands of high-fidelity simulations, physics-informed neural networks, and deep partnerships with the biggest names in GPU computing.

We're hiring FDEs across four physics disciplines: CFD, structural mechanics, thermal analysis, and electromagnetics. If your background lives in any of these domains, keep reading.

This isn't a sales engineering role. It's a deeply technical position for someone who has lived inside CAE workflows and wants to bring AI into them at scale.

What You'll Do

  • Work directly with engineering teams at some of the most technically demanding companies in the world, using your domain background to diagnose simulation problems and design practical solutions.
  • Script in Python to automate workflows and customize the platform.
  • Apply Physics AI models in real engineering contexts including surrogate modeling and PINNs.
  • Translate what you're seeing in the field into product feedback that shapes the roadmap.
  • Travel to customer sites when needed. Direct customer-facing experience isn't required, strong technical communication and internal stakeholder management is enough.

What We're Looking For

  • Deep hands-on experience in at least one physics discipline: CFD, FEA, thermal analysis, or electromagnetics. This is the core requirement.
  • Genuinely strong Python skills for scripting and workflow automation, not SWE-level, but you're comfortable working independently without much help.
  • Some familiarity with ML applied to physics problems, whether that's surrogate modeling, PINNs, or scientific ML, and real curiosity to go deeper.
  • Clear, credible communication with technical stakeholders. You can translate complex simulation work without dumbing it down.
  • Self-starter mentality. You take ownership, move fast, and don't need hand-holding in ambiguous situations.

Due to the nature of the clients, candidates must be US citizens or Green Card holders.
