Forward Deployed Engineer

Most “customer-facing technical” roles are still one-sided:

• You either stay close to customers, but far from the real technical work.
• Or you stay technical, but far from the actual business impact. This one sits in the middle.

We’re hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for a fast-growing AI Voice company in the SaaS/customer communications space.

TL;DR Location: Berlin / Madrid / Paris / London Setup: Hybrid Language: Fluent German + English Focus: AI deployments, APIs, integrations, automation, customer delivery Comp: Up to €130k

The role

You’d work directly with customers to understand their workflows, spot automation opportunities, and get AI solutions live in production.

That means:

• designing solutions around real business problems
• integrating with CRMs, help desks, and other tools
• working with APIs, webhooks, and low-code workflows
• helping customers get to real adoption, not just initial excitement
• feeding recurring use cases back into Product and Engineering

Who it could suit

You do not need to be a software engineer. You do need to be technically credible, comfortable with integrations, and good with customers.

Why it’s interesting

It’s one of those roles where you stay hands-on, close to customers, and close to revenue - without being boxed into just pre-sales or just delivery.

This is a strong one for someone who wants to work where AI actually becomes useful.
