A category-defining AI data analytics company is hiring its first commercial hires to build out the DACH market from Zurich.

This is a true Pioneer AE role inside a company that has spent the last decade building a highly differentiated product, and is now entering a commercial scaling phase with strong momentum and fresh investment.

You would join as one of the first Account Executives globally, working directly with the founders and technical leadership to define how revenue is built, structured, and scaled across enterprise customers.

The product is a natural language AI analytics platform that enables business users to access and understand company data without relying on dashboards or data teams. By combining conversational AI with a strong data governance layer, it allows organizations to move faster, reduce bottlenecks, and make better decisions across the business.

  • Sales cycle: 4 weeks to 6–9 months (average under 3 months)
  • Motion: Full‑cycle AE (pipeline generation → close → expansion)
  • Lead generation: Strong outbound focus, events, network‑driven
  • Sales approach: Strategic, multi‑threaded selling (MEDDIC‑style)
  • Pre‑sales support: Available for technical depth

Responsibilities (Next 12–18 Months)

  • Own the full DACH market as a founding AE
  • Build pipeline from zero and define what “good” looks like commercially
  • Close complex enterprise deals across multiple stakeholders
  • Help shape how the company sells, positions, and scales
  • Work directly with founders on strategy, pricing, and GTM execution
  • Position yourself for leadership as the team expands
  • Play a pivotal role in defining the success of the next funding round

Must Haves

  • Proven hunter mentality with strong pipeline generation ability
  • 2+ years of full‑cycle B2B SaaS sales experience
  • Experience selling complex, technical products
  • Comfortable engaging C‑level stakeholders in enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, SPICED, etc.)
  • Background in high‑quality startup or scale‑up environments

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in data, BI, or analytics companies (e.g. Snowflake, Looker, etc.)
  • Experience building pipeline from scratch in early‑stage companies
  • Previous Pioneer AE experience
  • Experience selling into large enterprise organizations
  • Strong understanding of data concepts (data warehouses, ETL, Python, governance)
  • Ability to speak credibly with Chief Data Officers and technical stakeholders

Compensation & Setup

  • CHF 180K–240K OTE
  • Equity component (flexible depending on preference)
  • Hybrid setup in Zurich (min. 3 days onsite)
  • Relocation support available
