Founding Engineer

About

A company is building an AI‑powered platform designed to fully automate accounts receivable and debt collection workflows.

Rather than a traditional SaaS tool, it develops an autonomous engine that connects directly to client systems and manages the entire process — from payment reminders to legal escalation — through intelligent, end‑to‑end workflows powered by LLMs.

The company is at pre‑seed stage (~€1M raised) with a founding team of 3 and is entering a key phase of product construction.

Role

• Looking for a hands‑on Founding Engineer to join at an early stage as one of the first technical hires, working directly with the CTO.
• Build and ship product features from scratch to production.
• Design and implement end‑to‑end AI workflows (LLMs, agents, automation).
• Work across the full stack (backend, frontend, infra, data).
• Integrate with client systems and orchestrate complex data flows.
• Contribute to core architectural decisions in a zero‑legacy environment.
• Iterate fast and take ownership of product scope.

Requirements

Profile

• 1–7 years of experience.
• Strong fullstack engineering skills (backend + frontend + systems thinking).
• Previous experience in startup environments or entrepreneurial projects.
• Proven ability to build and launch products from scratch.
• High autonomy and strong ownership mindset.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.

Must‑have

• Experience building real‑world applications involving AI.
• Hands‑on work with LLMs, agents, or end‑to‑end AI workflows.
• Ability to move from prototype to production systems.
