Finvisor Pro is the compliance operating system for regulated financial institutions. We're replacing the spreadsheets, shared folders, and email chains that compliance teams at banks, EMIs, payment institutions, and crypto firms still rely on, with a modular, auditable, AI-enabled software platform.

We're built by Finvisor, the award-winning regulatory consultancy firm working across the UK, Ireland, and the EU.

And now we're hiring our first engineer.

The role

You'll be our founding engineer. Working directly with the founder. Owning the technical architecture as we scale.

Your first six months will focus on three things:

• Leading the platform's move from Replit onto AWS — ECS or EKS, RDS Postgres, S3, Secrets Manager, the full production stack
• Hardening the platform for enterprise procurement and security review — SOC 2 Type I readiness, audit logging, SSO, SCIM, encryption at rest

You'll shape every architectural decision that follows. You'll write code, but you'll also pick our infrastructure, define our deployment pipeline, and set the engineering standards we'll hire the next two or three engineers against.

You'll fit if you have

• 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience, with significant time in TypeScript and Node.js
• Production experience with React, PostgreSQL, and ideally a modern ORM (Drizzle, Prisma, or similar)
• Hands-on AWS experience — ECS or EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CDK), CI/CD pipelines
• Shipped multi-tenant B2B SaaS in production — you understand tenant isolation, per-tenant configuration, and the operational realities of running one platform for many customers
• Direct experience with enterprise security controls — SSO (SAML, OIDC), SCIM, audit logging, encryption at rest
• Ideally been through SOC 2 Type I or II, ISO 27001, or both, as a technical contributor — not just observed it happening

Bonus if

• You've worked in fintech, RegTech, or financial services
• You've built or operated AI-integrated features in production (OpenAI APIs, vector stores, retrieval-augmented generation)
• You've shipped a product from Replit, Vercel, or another developer platform onto AWS before

Our process

Three steps. We don't run take-home tests, gauntlets, or whiteboard puzzles.

• Introductory call (30 minutes). Mutual fit, your background, the role, our plan.
• Technical conversation (60 minutes). We talk through your previous work, architectural decisions you've made, and how you'd approach our AWS migration. Bring code if you want; we don't require it.
• References and an offer. We'll want to speak to two people who've worked with you closely. Then we'll move quickly.

Location

Dublin, hybrid. We're flexible on days in the office. Ideally you're already in Ireland or willing to be there for a few days a month. For exceptional candidates elsewhere in the UK or EU, we'd consider remote-first with regular travel to Dublin.
