Financial Analyst

About the Role

The FP&A Financial Analyst will act as the bridge between an overseas outsourced accounting team and the local CFO, supporting a variety of essential functions such as financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Key Responsibilities

• Support FP&A activities including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and providing strategic insights.
• Maintain and enhance financial models that aid in planning and decision-making.
• Analyze financial trends, KPIs, and operational drivers.
• Create management-level reporting and dashboards.
• Partner with senior leadership to offer financial recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhance reporting accuracy.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis.
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks and Bill.com.
• Exposure to AI, healthcare, or technology environments.
• Experience with project-based accounting or data analytics.

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule: In-office Tuesdays and Thursdays at Dupont Circle; remote on other days.
