FP&A Manager

About

The FP&A Manager leads the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical reporting across manufacturing, wholesale, retail, and corporate operations. This role partners closely with executive leadership to provide financial insights that improve profitability, operational efficiency, cash flow, and strategic decision-making. The position requires strong financial modeling skills, operational understanding, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments and business units.
• Develop rolling forecasts, long-range financial plans, and scenario modeling.
• Build financial models tied to revenue, labor, inventory, production, and cash flow.
• Analyze budget-to-actual performance and provide variance reporting.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, operational risks, and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare financial pro formas for expansions, capital investments, and strategic projects.
• Evaluate ROI, profitability, gross margins, and payback periods for business initiatives.
• Monitor operational KPIs including production yields, labor productivity, inventory turns, and retail performance.
• Create executive dashboards, board-ready reporting packages, and management presentations.
• Improve reporting automation, maintain financial systems, and support data accuracy across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
• 5–10 years of progressive FP&A
• Experience supporting multi-entity operations preferred
• Advanced financial modeling and forecasting experience required
