Senior FP&A Analyst

Position Summary

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Senior FP&A Analyst supports budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment. The role also includes monthly performance analysis and variance explanation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Analyze margins and identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform variance analysis vs budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Partner with operational teams to support business decisions.
• Develop dashboards and enhance management reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and data quality initiatives.
• Support system enhancements, automation, and ERP projects.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis for senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA an asset).
• 5+ years of FP&A or financial analysis experience.
• Manufacturing or product-based environment is an asset.
• Strong understanding of margin drivers and business performance.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
• Experience with Power BI or similar tools is an asset.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Bilingual (French & English).
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
