About Time Champ
Time Champ is an employee monitoring software with workforce intelligence layer, helping businesses track time, monitor productivity, and gain deep visibility into team performance. As we scale our content engine, we are looking for an experienced B2B SaaS freelance content writer to produce high-quality content that ranks on Google, captures featured snippets, and shows up across AI Overviews.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced freelance B2B Content Writer to work along with our in-house content team. Your role is to write blog posts, landing pages, comparison pages and other long-form content that ranks on search engines, satisfies AI search platforms, and converts B2B buyers.
Key Responsibilities
•Write blog posts, landing pages, comparison pages, and pillar pages content
• Produce content that ranks on Google search and shows up in AI Overviews (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and other AI search platforms)
• Apply semantic SEO, entity-based writing, and topical authority principles consistently across every piece
• Differentiate Time Champ content from competitor pieces by adding unique angles, frameworks, and operational plays the SERP doesn't have
• Join Microsoft Teams calls and respond to messages whenever our team needs to communicate with you, including content kickoffs, revision rounds, and topic planning
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of proven B2B SaaS content writing experience
• Strong portfolio of published B2B SaaS work - blog posts, pillar pages, comparison articles, landing pages
• Hands-on experience with semantic SEO, topical authority building, and entity-based content strategy
• Working knowledge of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and how to structure content for AI Overviews and LLM-driven search
• Comfortable with comparison content (Brand vs Competitor) and product-led writing without sounding salesy
• Strong research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to Have
• Experience in writing content for employee productivity, time tracking, monitoring, workforce management, and well-being related topics.
• Familiarity with FAQPage, HowTo, ItemList, and SoftwareApplication schema and how to structure content for them
