About the role

Job Overview

We are an immigration law firm looking for a highly resourceful Freelance Recruiter based in Latin America to manage our end-to-end talent sourcing. Your role is to act as our local headhunter: find candidates, screen them, and coordinate interviews with our executive team.

This is a strictly performance and milestone-based contract. We do not pay hourly; instead, we offer a lucrative multi-tiered payout structure that rewards you for finding and screening quality candidates, with aggressive bonuses for 1) successful interviews and 2) hires.

*If this initial hiring sprint is successful, we are looking to retain the winning recruiter for future HR, onboarding, and recruitment projects.

Who We Are Looking to Hire (The Candidate Profile)

You will be sourcing candidates for our internal team who meet the following criteria:

  • Language Skills: Strictly Bilingual (Fluent English and Spanish).
  • Experience Level: We are looking for candidates with a legal background.
    • Tier 1 (Ideal): Professionals with direct U.S. Immigration law experience.
    • Tier 2 (Highly Welcome): Licensed attorneys, paralegals, or legal support staff in Latin America who are highly trainable.

The Workflow & Compensation Structure

We believe in transparency and paying well for actual results. Here is exactly how our process works and how you will get paid:

  1. Sourcing & Qualifying Candidates (Milestones 1-5)

    • Your Job: You hunt on LinkedIn, local job boards, or your own networks. You collect their resume, and screen them using our video portal. Each screening will be about 5 minutes
    • Payout: $50 per approved screening batch of 5 candidates. Up to 5 batches (25 candidates, $250 total)
  2. The Job Interview Bonus

    • Your Job: For the candidates we approve from the screening batches, you will ensure the candidate actually shows up, is prepared, and is a genuinely good fit for the interview.
    • The Payout: If the candidate successfully attends the interview and meets the baseline quality standards we discussed, you get a bonus of $25 per person. (we would like to interview 10 people)
  3. The Successful Hire Bonus

    • Your Job: Hire rockstars.
    • The Payout: If we hire a candidate you sourced, and they successfully complete their first 30 days of employment with us, you receive a placement bonus of $250 per employee. Currently we are looking to hire 2 but there could be more in the future.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Proven experience in recruiting or headhunting in Latin America.
  • Deep knowledge of local job boards and networks beyond basic LinkedIn searches.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage candidate pipelines and scheduling.
  • Superb written and spoken English.
