About

We are seeking freelance Soc Analyst gigs in Baltimore. This is an independent project with flexible work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and incidents.
• Perform initial triage and analysis of security events.
• Escalate critical incidents to senior security personnel.
• Document security incidents and actions taken.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a SOC Analyst or in a similar security role.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring platforms.
• Understanding of common cyber threats and attack vectors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
