Front-End Developer (Angular) - UX Component Library

Role Overview

You will be part of a centralized UX team that defines and delivers reusable UI components and standards. These components are consumed by 120+ applications, helping enforce consistency, accessibility, and best practices across the organization. The focus is 100% front-end (Angular), with minimal backend exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable Angular components for a shared UI library
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement high-quality designs
• Define and enforce UI standards and best practices across applications
• Build responsive, accessible, and scalable UI components
• Apply advanced CSS techniques (Flexbox, Grid, theming)
• Ensure WCAG accessibility compliance
• Document component usage and integration guidelines
• Package and publish the component library (Artifactory) with proper versioning
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing
• Troubleshoot UI issues and support application teams using the library
• Participate in code reviews using Bitbucket

Must-Have Skills

• 3–5 years of front-end development experience
• Strong expertise in Angular (latest versions – Angular 16+)
• Experience building or contributing to UI component libraries / design systems
• Solid understanding of modern UI standards and front-end architecture
• Strong CSS skills (Flexbox, Grid, responsive design, theming)
• Exposure to UX/UI principles and implementation
• Good communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with React
• Exposure to Spring Boot (basic support / deployments)
• Experience with UI testing / automation (any tools – visual, component, etc.)
