Front End Developer

Responsabilities

• Working with internal team to develop the overall look and design of a website or applications.
• Writing websites code with programming languages such as React, HTML5, CSS3, Node.JS, Express.JS and JavaScript.
• Producing, maintaining and modifying websites and user interfaces.
• Creating tools that enhance the user’s website experience.
• Ensuring websites or applications are accessible across many platforms, including laptops and smartphones.
• Routinely testing websites or applications for ease of use, speed and other quality factors.
• Fixing any website or applications issues or bugs that arise.
• Database management and development using SQL and other technologies.

Skills & Requirements Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in the software development, working with front end.
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and PHP.
• Good understanding and knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as ReactJS or AngularJS or KnockoutJS.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, and curiosity when it comes to new approaches and practices in software development.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English).
